Due to the influence of traditional culture, people believe that the scale and form of “funeral“ is representative of class and status in China. The “over-packing“ of “funeral“ culture has caused waste and environmental pollution due to consumerism’s prevalence in the current society.

Through the investigation and reflection on this phenomenon, this work combines the characteristics of ancient Chinese buried treasures with a simple design and more environmentally friendly materials. It conveys the new concept of future funeral forms
